I'm with problems.
I have a scenario on Lab with CUCM 7.0.2.10000-18 and Presence 7.0.3.10000-63
I have a CUPC, the log is fine, presence status too, but the Deskphone and softphone not works fine, it's show me the Not Registered.
The CTI Gateway is ip correct, I change the CTI Timer (from 5 to 300), restart phones, restart CTI Manager, restart the servers but nothing.
Can somebody help me?

The problem was on LDAP Directory.
The field Telephony Number on AD was blank, I change on LDAP Directoy TelephonyNumber = IpPhone and now is working.
But I have another problem, I have softphone (CIPC) and on the personal the deskphone is work but not softphone.
I can make calls and receive calls, but not calls with video.
Somebody know any bug about cipc registered as deskphone on CUPC?

What phone mode you tried to use? Desk phone mode or soft phone mode?
In CUPC, "soft phone" means the built-in phone in CUPC (SIP phone).
In CUPC, "desk phone" means any phone that is not built into CUPC (like 79xx phone and CIPC).

I found the problem
All phones (CIPC, 79XX) up as Deskphone on CUPC, ok, no problems
And the Softphone on CUPS is just the UPCXXXXXXXXXXXX.
I understand.
So, I found my problem, I have on my AD (in lab test) the users
peterson.cristovam, so converting to Presence is UPCPETERSONCRIS
But the presence don't works with this name, the solutions works just userid = petersoncris and UPCPETERSONCRIS
But I don't know this solution.....

This problem was fixed in CUPC 7.0.2. You're using 7.0.1.

I installed the CUCP 7.0(2.13820) and same problems
userid= peterson.cristovam NOT works with UPCPETERSONCRIS
userid= peterson.cristo NOT works with UPCPETERSONCRIS
userid= petersoncris works with UPCPETERSONCRIS.

Hi
If you are using CIPC (or any other device with deskphone mode) control of video is done externally, via CUVA.
The video features of CUPC are only available in softphone mode.

I did upgrade from CUPS 7.0.2 to 7.0.7 and now all works fine.
