Hi,
Q1: Can we disable AutoRP ? If yes, how?
R1#sh ip pim autorp
AutoRP Information:
AutoRP is enabled.
Q2: Does PIM-SM have dense mode fallback capability ? From what i've tested .. after clear ip mroute on all routers and clear ip pim rp map looks like PIM-SM doesn't have Dense Mode fallback capability .. and DM fallback works only for PIM-SDM ? Is it true ?
Thanks,

Hi Sandu,
By default fallback is enabled when you configure an interface with ip pim dense-mode or ip pim sparse-dense-mode.
Auto RP is not enabled by default unless you configure ip pim send-rp announce and ip pim send-rp-discovery

Hi,
Q1: you can't disable Auto-RP until 15.0(1)M where you can use the no ip pim auto-rp command.
Q2: correct
