If you look at Router 2 IP DHCP bindings it is releasing ip address even of the excluse list of R2 DHCP Scope.

R1 - EXCLUDE  SCOPE :- 10.120.101.141 - 10.120.101.254

R2 EXCLUDE SCOPE :- 10.120.101.1-140 .....but still R2 is giving ip's from excluse list.

Also I am not sure why these DHCP Conflicts and PING Conflict are keeping popping up, due to these my SCOPE is gettign fulled and my few client failed get IP address.

IS this some thing to  do with this command   no ip dhcp conflict logging  needeedto resolve this issue?

Apprecaite all your efforts!

Regards,

KA.

Hello Giuslar,

Thanks for your posts!

I had tried the clear IP dhcp conflict ..command ..but its not resolving my issue permanantly.

Regards,

KA.

Try to divide pool on two parts /25. One part is one one router, second on the second router. The pool will be two times smaller but you can try to avoid conflicts between routers.

Hi what is best practice to have dhcp in core switch? are we just configure in 1 core? or we like you say this have to be make both core hold smaller segment of pool.

Hello

Try decreasing your  DHCP lease values for voice and Data
