Multilink problem between cisco and Nortel router

Sir,

I have done multilink between cisco and nortel router.Its working fine.Some times multilink is up but not passing packets.If i give shutdown and no shutdown to multilink found packets are passing.

1.Any additional commands are there to multilink cisco and nortel router.What may be the problem.

this adds information to your previous thread.

PPP multilink is a standard so it should work and no special commands should be given to improve the behaviour

what is the PPP state in sh ppp multilink when user traffic doe not pass over it ?

the shut/ no shut resets the PPP state machine.

Kumar, make sure UDP traffic is enable on Nortel router. Some of the nortel routers don't handle UDP multilink traffic well. Look into pim or igmp forwarding solutions for your Nortel router.
