ASA 5505 and DHCP

I have a 4 sites  that has only thinclients an ASA 5505 and a 3550-24-pwr switch, all are connected to a FIOS connection. I am using the ASA doing DHCP and it is the default gateway at all sites. We are putting all sites on a MPLS network and using the FIOS connection as failover.

Now my qiestion. The network tech for the MPLS network tells me that the ASA 5505 cannnot explicitly state a router address different than itself in their DHCP leases. Is this correct, if so can I use my Catalyst 3550-24-pwr switch for DHCP stating the MPLS router as the default gateway? Thanks

You are right. You can configure a different gateway address for your DHCP client when ASA is the DHCP server.

Maybe you can configure the switch as the DHCP server?
