Hey all!
I am going to get a new G2 Cisco 1941 router, but the only option in my area is a 10MB down and 2MB up COAXIAL service... Do you know what would be a good WIC card for the 1941?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
If the service provider brings it to you via Coax, get a media converter and convert it from Coax to Copper and connect it to your 1941. 1941 already comes with 2 on board 10/100/1000, so you don't need a WIC.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah they called and said they would provide a modem, so i guess, like you said, just connect the modem to the enet port on the router for WAN, then the other side for LAN.
In your option which would be better?
10MB Coax connection or a 1.5mb T-1 connection?
I know we are dealing with two different technologies being coax and fiber, but which would you choose?

Go with 10Mb Coax.
Good Luck
