Translate external mobile number to internal.

Hello


Anybody can help me here!!


I need to translate-transform(i am not sure) in CCM 6.1 a user from a mobile number when it calls an internal number to apear in internal user

not the number from the mobile but from the range of the internals that i have.


Is this possible???

Hi


Pattern = the number people will dial (i.e. 6977777777)

Called Party Mask = the number you want to translate to (1990)

Use External Mask - if you set this, then the call will appear as if it was dialed as the combination of the calling extension number, and the External Mask. Generally you would leave this blank internally so calls appear as 1990, not 1235551990 or whatever.

Let's say that my mobile number is 6977777777 and i want to translate this to internal number 1990.


In which fields i put those numbers??


What i shall put in Pattern field??

In which field i put the internal number??

Should i check the box --Use Calling Party's External  Phone Number Mask--???

I am not sure if you undrastand my problem....

Let's say that a user call from a mobile phone with number 6777777777 to an internal user to my company with a number 1990.

Is it possible the internal user with the number 1990 see in the display instead of 6977777777 a internal number like 1993??


I am going to do it with translation pattern or transformation pattern???


I have try Aaron the way you have told me but nothing happen.
