Is it possible to change a users voicemail password from inside the CCA or is the only way to reset a voicemail password is by logging into the CUE gui via a separate browser.  It just seems odd to me that I can't change a user's password from the CCA.   I am runing CCA 2.2.

SO this is the password to adjust the password :-)))), so to speak.....

The password in CCA COnfigure:Telephony:Voice: User Extension tab is used by the phone user to "log in to User  Options web pages" to change phone settings. The  password applies to the Cisco Unity Express GUI, and  the IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol).

So we default this as 12345 in the TSW (soon to be 123456 since OM wants to see 6 charachter minimum length).

So if my uder is George Washington with UserID Georgew and password 123456,

I open http://10.1.10.1 and log in as Georgew/123456

I go to Configure Users, select George W and there, you can see where you can set the "PIN"

Try that.

Office Manager is also an option for this kind of task:

Thanks,

Thanks Marcos.  But if we exclude Office Manager for a minute, can I reset a users voicemail password with CCA, or is that function limited to the CUE GUI?

You should be able to do this in CCA via the Users page under the Voice Tab.

Thanks Marcos.  I agree that I should be able to do it from here, but I must have a bug since this is not successfully changing the users vm password.
