Hello

on the interface Vlan 10 configured -> ipv6 address FC00:0:0:10::/64 eui-64, if I configured - ipv6 general-prefix FD00::/48, Which prefix will be given to hosts in Vlan 10 ? FD00:0:0:10::/64 or FD00::/48 ?

Thanks

Hello Misha,

>> FD00:0:0:10::/64

eui compliant addresses are always /64: stateless autoconfiguration using router advertisements will make hosts to take a /64 ipv6 address that is listed as on wire prefix.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
