Call transfer with an expansion line

We have 2 users that are sharing an extension on 7942 dual line phones.  The secretary always answers the phone and then transfers the call to the boss but is goes straight to voicemail.  We have setup an expansion line to receive the transfer  but it still fails.  We are using CME/CUE.

Is there something that we are missing or is there a better way to do this?

Hi Shannon,

For the Manager phone I would try;

ephone  2
type 7942
button  1:2 2:3

And have the Admin transfer to 1113.
