Hi all,
I'm wondering if there is current or upcoming support for the SFP-10G-LR SFP+ transceivers for the Nexus 5020. We are keen to use the 5020s but must connect to a Catalyst 6500 550 meters distant in a second datacenter. If there is no such support possible, what would be the recommended approach to solving the distance problem?
Thank you very much for any advice you can give.
Regards,
Paul

But Cisco SFP-10G-LR supported on the Nexus 5000 series. Look under Table 1 (Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Transceiver Support Matrix).

Thanks for your response. Our concern is that the Nexus 5000 installation guide overview clearly shows that the 5020 model supports just the SFP-10G-SR transceiver, while the 5010 is shown to support both SFP-10G-SR and SFP-10G-LR. Perhaps this is an omission in the guide? We really need an authoritative answer that the SFP-10G-LR is supported by the 5020.
Thanks again.
