Configure LMS 3.2 after changing IP address

Hello,

I installed LMS 3.2 under Windows Server 2008 with a temporary server name and IP address.

I changed this elements both with thr real data and after that, impossible to lunch CiscoWorks.

Someone could tell me how to proceed to configure LMS, please?

Thank you for your answer.

Best regards.

try to recover with the following step by step procedure:

stop LMS daeomons with the following command in a DOS box:
    net stop crmdmgtd

revert the hostname and IP change to reflect the OLD (temporary) entries
reboot the server
wait until the processes are fully up (takes up to 20 min), then check if LMS up and running again
if it is successfull, stop LMS daemons again: net stop crmdmgtd
change the IP address to the new IP address; leave the hostname untouched;
if necessary change any entry in DNS or hosts file
reboot the server
wait until the processes are fully up (takes up to 20 min), then check if LMS up and running again

now follow the steps provided in this document about the NMSROOT\bin\hostnamechange.pl script:
