my core is 2 6500 cat OS 8.6.1 Im just starting VOIP I not able to set aux 3/1 vlan 107 on a trunk I can set it on a non trunk port.

will my 802.1q cary traffice over the trunk Voice and data vlans. my IDF are cat 3560 ios I have no problems switchport voice command on them. however my phone do not get a ip from DHCP. I have the routing mod in the 6500 with the data vlan 7 and voice vlan 107 for routing I can ping from the call manager from both vlans.

First, might want to consider converting from Hybrid mode to Native IOS, since many of the VoIP and QoS commands won't be supported under CatOS. I've actually never heard of someone running Hybrid mode with a SUP720.

Secondary, the auxiliary VLAN only ports with a phone attached, so you shouldn't be using it on your core at all.
