CONFIG SIP TRUNK FOR SPA9000

Hello,

I am trying to configure a trunk sip for SP9000.

The question is: how works the spa9000,  like SIP Trunk or like SIP line (B2BUA)?

My ISP, give me only the ip sip server. They don not use other parameter like username or password. How can I configure the SPA9000 with this mode?

Thanks

Your question is most interesting, you said your Internet telephone service provider (ITSP) doesn't use  parameter like username or password.

I can only guess as to what mechanism   your Internet telephone service provider (ITSP) uses to make sure that incoming SIP callers have an account on their network.

You may like to mention the name of this  ITSP so that other people at this community could try to answer your question.

However, there are a lot of manuals and information for this product, at this site and as well as at www.cisco.com, but in English..

Following link for some material found here;

You have found the answer to this question. At me the same problem and I do not know as it to solve. I start to be disappointed in Linksys (CISCO)!!!

Dear Sirs;

Try the following:

On the line, please set the following:

- Proxy: IP address of the SP server

- User ID: 100

- Leave password blank

- Set the following parameters to YES: Make call without registration, Answer call without registration.

Submit changes, it should work.

Regards;
Alberto

Thanks for the answer!!!

While has earned nothing.

Has adjusted Syslog.

In line1 has put - SIP Debug Option: Full

At a call on Line1 in syslog there are no messages.

So should be?

If I ITSP has given out me telephone number 2689259, it should not be registered in USER ID ??==========================================================================

It prompt than is possible to check up SIP trunk from ITSP, works or not?

Dear Sir;

Yes, you can/must use the telephone number on the user id.

On the syslog, you need to go to the system tab and include the syslog server IP address in order to get the traces.
