I am looking at using the following equipment
Cisco 3750E switch with X2 to SFP+ Adapter connected using a HP SFP+ direct twinax type cable 7m to a HP NC522SFP+ NIC
I have enabled the cisco command to allow the non Cisco SFP+ cable to be used ( as the HP card I understand can only use a HP cable - not Cisco) but I cant get them to connect
Does anyone else have this working?
Thanks
Michael.

Hello, Michael.
Do you know the answer to your question? I have the same problem, and I don't know how to make it work. Could you help me?
Thanks.

In the end I went and purchased the Cisco 5m SFP cable, it seems to work.
Thanks
Michael.

Would you be able to list the part numbers you are referring to?

The cable that works for me is
SFP-H10GB-CU5M= | 10GBASE-CU SFP+ Cable 5 Meter |
thanks
