Hi folks, greetings.
We have a customer that has more APs than his WLC can support. He wants to know if there is a way of setting priority on APs association to the wlc.
I.e if AP1 is associated and AP2 is turned on, he wants the WLC to disassociate AP1 and let the AP2 associate.
I told him it was impossible, am I correct or there is such a feature I am not aware of?
Thanks in advance,
AL

Yes, you can set the AP join priority as of 5.1.

Thanks a lot for your reply. The version they have is Software Version4.2.176.0.
I suggested him to think about upgrading his WLCs in order to have such a feature in place,
Once again, thanks a bunch.
Regards,
AL
