CW LMS RME can't manage the archive for a NAM2.I get the error message below.  I double checked the username and password, and succeeds while telenting manually. A sniffer capture shows that CW is able to connect to the NAM (the prompt is there), nonetheless it fails.

I get this message in dcma.log :[ Sat Mar 27  03:26:25 CET 2010 ],DEBUG,[Thread-1142],,printStackTrace,51, Prompt learning failed: [email protected]# [email protected]# [email protected]# ' && [email protected]# [email protected]# ' do not match.

Any idea ?

LMS 2.6 with RME 4.0.6. Given the licensing, these are the latest software and packages.

The problem you are seeing (CSCsy73881) does not have a fix in RME 4.0.6.  It is fixed in RME 4.3 with the availability of a new file which allows you to adjust some of the internal timers.  And, since RME 4.0.6 is currently end of engineering, I do not see a patch coming out for your version.  If you were to upgrade, you would need to edit, and set:

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, the content of Bug CSCsy73881 is only available to Cisco employees.

I guess I have to buy LMS 3.2 in order to get RME 4.3 right ?
