WS-SVC-NAM-2 RME Archive Mgmt partially successful

Hello

CW LMS RME can't manage the archive for a NAM2.I get the error message below.  I double checked the username and password, and succeeds while telenting manually. A sniffer capture shows that CW is able to connect to the NAM (the prompt is there), nonetheless it fails.

I get this message in dcma.log :[ Sat Mar 27  03:26:25 CET 2010 ],DEBUG,[Thread-1142],com.cisco.nm.xms.xdi.transport.cmdsvc.LogAdapter,printStackTrace,51,stacktracecom.cisco.nm.lib.cmdsvc.CmdSvcException: Prompt learning failed: 'root@namdmz1.namsa.lu# root@namdmz1.namsa.lu# root@namdmz1.namsa.lu# ' && 'root@namdmz1.namsa.lu# root@namdmz1.namsa.lu# ' do not match.

Any idea ?

Thanks

This is a timing issue.  what version of LMS do you have?

LMS 2.6 with RME 4.0.6. Given the licensing, these are the latest software and packages.

The problem you are seeing (CSCsy73881) does not have a fix in RME 4.0.6.  It is fixed in RME 4.3 with the availability of a new cmdsvc.properties file which allows you to adjust some of the internal timers.  And, since RME 4.0.6 is currently end of engineering, I do not see a patch coming out for your version.  If you were to upgrade, you would need to edit cmdsvc.properties, and set:

TuneSleepMillis=500

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, the content of Bug CSCsy73881 is only available to Cisco employees.

I guess I have to buy LMS 3.2 in order to get RME 4.3 right ?

Sorry, I did a mistake with the rating of the last reply. 5 stars is the real score

Yes, RME 4.3 is part of LMS 3.2.
