Answered Question
Mar 28th, 2010

Dear all,

Can the interface Management 0/0 on a Cisco ASA 5510 be used and configured to act as a normal Ethernet interface?

This will enable to create an additional zone for hosting devices.

Regards,

Alvin

Yes, you can use the management port as a normal interface that can act as a DMZ if you need to. See this link for more details -
