Encryption on Wireless Bridge 1310

Hi All

I am configuring a Wireless Bridge which seems a little more difficult then it should be on the Cisco stuff. I ended up going through a config guide from Cisco and got it up and running.  The only disturbing thing is that the guide only specifies using WEP, granted it is a 128 bit key, but it is still WEP.  For all other things we use WPA2 Enterprise with 802.1x so having an entire building connected via WEP makes me a bit concerned.

Is there at support with bridging using WPA or WPA2 with AES?  If there is no other option what are the best practices to maintain as high level of security as possible on the bridge.

I have already set the keys to rotate and enable Message Integrity Check on the link.  Anything else I can do?

Also, wasn't sure if this is the right forum, debated between here and security and figured seeing as this is a wireless bridge this would be the more apropriate.

Thanks

Hi there,

Looks like that is for client access, at least it just describes configuring the AP and the client accessing it, it does not go into how to establish a bridge between 2 AP's using WPA.  Any chance you have a link to a docs for that?

Thanks

Hi there,   for that particular setup I would  post  your   inquiry in a much larger wireless techology audience ,  go to main cisco forum and pick  Wireles - Mobility forum     https://supportforums.cisco.com/index.jspa
