Replacing FWSM Admin context

I am in need of deleting one of the context of FWSM and it happens to be admin context of that FWSM. As we can not delete admin context, I am planning to make other context as 'admin context' first.

Can this be possible by just using 'admin-context context-name' command in system configuration where context-name is name of the new admin context? My concern is: Does this affect my current telnet session with FWSM?

I appreciate if someone can confirm this. Unfortunately I can not test this in lab.

Hi,

Your current telnet session is to an IP that belongs to the current admin context?

If this is so, it will indeed affect the telnet connection because when you change the admin context, the new admin context will be the context with network access.

If you have the option to do this via console, it will be the recommendation.
