Unanswered Question

hello,

I have a problem with client association on the Guest WLAN : When the AP has been restart client association doesn't work. If i change any Guest WLAN parameters it's ok !

- This trouble hapens only if the AP mode is Hreap (With local mode, no problem )
- With a WLC4404 there is no problem (same config but older version)
- With coporate WLAN (peap) no problem

The Guest WLAN is open

debug capwap
reap mgmt :

Mar 30 15:14:51.563: REAP Mgmt: Open Auth
*Mar 30 15:14:51.563: REAP Mgmt: Created MN 0022.6894.5ecf, vlan 1
*Mar 30 15:14:51.563: capwap_ap_mgmt: sent auth resp to 0022.6894.5ecf, bssid 001c.f972.46b0, status 0, alg 0 seq num 2

"WPAIE not found and required" is display only when association fail.

Hello Philippe,

Are you still having a problem with this?

I'm troubleshooting the exact same thing.

Best regards

Patrick

yes i still have the same problem

I've opened a case on cisco support

ogenstad Mon, 04/19/2010 - 07:47

I've received confirmation that this is due to this bug:

CSCta13941    AP rejecting association request with status code 13

Now I'm waiting for a patch.
