I have a few questions about Tranlsation Rules, and I'd also like to ask for help in writing one/a couple of them...
Basically, I need the following done:
If the number dialed starts with a pound (#), then strip the pound, and put the call through.
If the number dialed does not start with a pound, then prefix it with the number 7, and put the call through
So I suppose my first question would be, what translation rule(s) do I need to accomplish this?
Secondly, will this break CCA access on a UC540
And third, how the heck do I add the translation rules? Is CLI the only option?
Thanks in advance - my apologies for my noobness.

Hi Andrew,
Here are some good examples that might help:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/tech/tk652/tk90/technologies_tech_note09186a0080325e8e.shtml
You can use CLI, but we recommend that you stay within the out of band rules for CCA. There is a document that you can use. Do a search on Cisco.com for "Cisco Configuration Assistant 2.2 Out-of-Band Configuration Guidelines"
Thanks,
Marcos

Hi Marcos
Thanks for your reply - It seems I do not have sufficient access to download the document you linked to. Is there another way I can download it?
