This is not supported.  You need to use the crmtftp server than comes with LMS.  On Solaris, we used to use the Solaris in.tftpd, but we now ship our own which works with files greater than 32 MB in size.

I have a somewhat related question, in the opposite vein. Based on my inquiry in the past, I understand it's ok to install only the Cisco-supplied tftp daemon by itself on a box (in the case of Solaris, UltraSPARC only). However, it's still not clear to me if it's legally permitted for a non-LMS customer to download the LMS eval solely for the purpose of installing the Cisco tftpd with >32MB support (I doubt few are allowed to compile hpa-tftpd from source in an enterprise environment). Secondly, how exactly does one go about installing only the Cisco tftpd from the LMS DVD? I could go sift through the setup.sh script, but it takes less effort to ask on a web forum?

It is perfectly legal to do this since we are using an Open Source TFTP daemon called hpa-tftpd (http://freshmeat.net/projects/tftp-hpa/ ).  You can actually just grab the in.tftpd file from packages/CSCOtools/reloc/CSCOpx/bin/in.tftpd under the DVD.
