Hi,

I need some design help to create a custom phone app for a 7931.

The requirements are:

Have a 7931 button that toggles a feature on/off. The feature polls and performs an HTTP POST every 30 seconds when it's on. The feature stops polling when it's toggled off.

My questions are:

Is IP Phone Services the way I should develop this? If so, why does the 'IP Phone Services' for UCM 7.x + state ....

"IP phone services comprise XML applications that  enable the display of interactive content with text and graphics on

Cisco Unified IP Phones 7970, 7960, 7940, 7912, and 7905."

Does this mean that the 7931 is not supported?

I'm not a UCM guy, but I've got to create this custom app quickly, so I just need some expert advice.
