Hi,

My question is what all file will get created when you issue 'write core' command to generate core dump. Does it change from platform to platform?

Thanks,
Viral

Hi Viral,

As per cisco documentation This command will cause a crash, and the content of the memory will be dumped accordingly and it should work same for all platform.
