Ping problem on MPLS

Dear Gurus,

I have this weird scenario, wherein i can see the mac-address of both my CE routers but i cannot ping them.

CE1----metro----PE--------PE--------metro ------CE2

On the metro, i can see both mac-address, but we cannot ping each other. Im using EoMPLS only for the mpls network.

Hi,

On both CE1 and CE2 you have the correct static or dynamic routes to reach the other end?

Can you check the IP routing table? If you try a traceroute, where does the PING packet die?

Do you have access to the PE routers or are they managed by your provider?
