UCM 5.1.3 to 7.0.1 UCCX 4.5 to 7.0.1 upgrade/fresh install???

Good day.

We've already new servers with cm 5.1.3 pre-installed and empty server for uccx.(software release)

I would like to ask you,which is the best way to migrate for UC 7 release.

Have i to install 4.5/5.1.3 versions,register them and upgrade to 7 release or just make a fresh install of UC 7 products?

What will be about licences? Is there compability  5.X and 7.X.

What's a best way to solve this issue?

Hi ,

Here is the Procedure to upgrade the UCCX server from 4.5(x) to UCCX 7.0(1)..

Re-Image the Customer response solution server
Please refer compatibility matrix for supported version of Operating System for Unified Cisco contact centre express 7.0
After re-imaging the Cisco Unified CCX server, upgrade the Cisco Unified CM . Please refer  for more details
Depending on your Customer Response solution deployment, you can use the following options:

•Upgrading from Customer Response solution 4.5(x) standalone deployment to Cisco Unified CCX 7.0(1) standalone deployment

•Upgrading from Customer Response solution 4.5(x) standalone deployment to Cisco Unified CCX 7.0(1) high availability deployment

Please refer Install upgrade guide for more details
Use license validator tool for supported license for subsystem to work after upgrade (This is optional)
Once the Operating System installation is successful , Disable Antivirus and Cisco security agent
Install Cisco Unified CCX server 7.0 Standalone or High availability as per requirement.
If the upgrade requires reinstallation of MS SQL 2000 server, or if you are moving from MSDE to MS SQL 2000 server, you can use the MS SQL 2000 server upgrade utility. For more information please refer
After successful installation of Cisco Unified CCX 7.0 , restore the backed up data .
Please provide the Customer Response solution 4.5 profile while restoring the backed up data
