Cisco WebEx Web Conference Initiation

Could someone please describe the process by which a web conference is set up on Cisco WebEx?

How does a user initiate an ad-hoc web conference? How do other users join?

What processes are taking place in the Cisco WebEx Cloud to set up the meeting? What protocols are used for initiation, control, audio/video, etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yogan,

Are you referring to WebEx in general - i.e., the standard hosted service or rather the WebEx node integration with MeetingPlace?

More interested in the SaaS, hosted cloud solution (WebEx Connect).

Although, would be nice to know if it works the same way with MeetingPlace/WebEx integration.
