How to configure TTS on UccX 7.0.x

Hello.

I'm about to configure TTS at a customer for the first time and my experience is "vert" limited on how to use/configuring Nuance sw.

I have one question :

Do I need to install Nuance Recognizer 9.0, when I only want to use TTS? (I plan to use Nuance Speech Server 5.0 + RealSpeak 4.5)

It's been a while since I've done one but I don't recall having to install that piece. I think that's only if you want ASR.

Thanks for your reply.

I have an ongoing case with TAC regarding configuring of the NUANCE software, because I only hear "silence" when runing the TTS script and the logs only tells me of a timeout.

I will ask the TAC engineer about the recognizer software.
