System image file for IPS 4240: IPS-4240-K9-sys-1.1-a-7.0-2-E4.img

IPS 4215 has reached EOL as follows:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/vpndevc/ps5729/ps5713/ps4077/ps5367/end_of_life_notice_for_cisco_ids_4215_sensor.html

and the latest supported image on IPS 4215 is 6.0.6(E4).

Hope that helps.

what is the ISO name for IPS 7.0,I mean the full name.didd't found it in the IPS Software section

The image name that i posted earlier is the full image name: IPS-4240-K9-sys-1.1-a-7.0-2-E4.img

Alternatively, here is how you get to it:

cisco.com download site --> Security --> Intrusion Prevension System (IPS) --> IPS Appliances --> Cisco IPS 4200 Series Sensors --> Cisco IPS 4240 Sensor --> Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) System Software --> 7.0(2)E4 --> IPS-4240-K9-sys-1.1-a-7.0-2-E4.img

Hope that helps.

freind,am looking for .ISO image.ddint find it

IPS does not use ISO image.

For reimage, the file is with extension ".img"

Here is the URL for your reference:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ips/7.0/installation/guide/hw_system_images.html

Hope that clears the confusion.

Thanks for ur support
