Hi

From the server CLI, log in as:

pwrecovery

pwreset

It will ask you to insert/pop a CD into the server (this can be any CD/DVD, just to prove you have physical access to the server and therefore are OK to reset it).

You should then get a prompt to choose either the admin password (CLI admin user) or the security password (cluster password).

Bear in mind if you change the admin user, you can do this and have different passwords on each server.

If you change the cluster password, you need to set it the same on all servers, and restart all the servers, or your cluster will be unhappy.

Aaron

Hello,

Thanks for the answer, it seems to be clear but does not work.

When I try to login using ssh to the server, with pwrecovery/pwreset it does not allows me.

Any idea?

Hi

The whole point of the CD-in/CD-out routine is to prove you have physical access to the server.

The other part of that is you need to be at the console, not via SSH.

You could get away with access via iLO if you have that configured already, I imagine...
