Hi All
We have an operational CUCM 7.0.2 Cluster installation which covers four physical sites.
Three of this sites are Warehouses with Loudspeaker Systems for announcments.
We need to connect an IP Phone operating in auto answer mode with each Loudspeaker system and be able to make announcments.
One solution was to use 7970 ip phone which supports external speaker and connect it to an input connector in the Loudspeaker. CP7970 are now end-of-sale and i can't find a phone with external speaker jack.
Any suggestions or solutions are welcome.
Thanks in advance

The 8900 and 9900 series phones do provide an external audio (speaker and microphone) port; however, this would be an unusual way of going about this. It is far more common to use an analog paging gateway from companies such as CyberData or Valcom. Multiple options exist depending on what the speaker amplifier will accept as an input.
