Clearing alarms in CTM

We currently have about 18 Major alarms on our network that we can't seem to clear out of CTM. We are using CTM ver. 7.0. The alarm is: Maximum login Attempts reached for user. Is it possible to clear this alarm from CTM? We have exhausted a day looking for any info on how to do this and can't seem to find anything. We would like to get these 18 major alarm off of our network. We checked all the IP addresses that are associated to these alarms and they are all users on our network. So we are certain it is not due to a security issue but due to someone mistyping their password too many times. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
