Dear all,
I have received the internet connection from ISP. It is 1GB ZX connection. Can i terminate this using a 3845 or 3945 router? I will be doing a default route to the ISP, i'm not planning to use any complex routing.
Will rate all the replys.Kindly assist.

The 3800 (Gi 0/2) has a dual-personality port: RJ-45 or SFP. If your ISP has ZX then your SFP should be "GLC-ZX-SM".
3845 can do 256 Mbps (un-encrypted) traffic and 502.78 Mbps for the 3945.
