Hi all,
I am trying to get load balancing over 2 wan(isp link) and router redundency as well.. but failed to get the solution..
Now need expert suggestion to achive it..
I have attached the diagram for reference...
Scenario:
Routers(3845) connected to 2 ISP, traffic need to be shared on both.
ASA 5520 configured in routed mode, active - failover and doesnot support PBR to load balance at ASA level.
Static route is being used..
I tried below things and failed..
1. GLBP on router to do load balacing and router redundancy:
Prob: GLBP work best with multiple clients.. in diagram there is only one client i.e ASA..
2. I tried giving 2 default route at ASA but not working when one fails or any WAN links fails..
next POA..
Now i am goin to use OSPF on routers, ASA and L3 switches in LAN.. not sure if this will work fine..
Need expert suggestion on it..
Regards
amar

Hi,
As you can see in diagram i am having two routers and behind it ASA 5520, which doesnt support PBR.
Can i use OSPF for load balance?

I don't think it would work. Use a single router, elimiante the ASA, it will work and and be much simpler.

You will need BGP then.
