Extended Wireless LAN

Hi 2 All,

Site A, Site B, Site C are connected to each other via T1 link in a triangle.

Each Site has its own VTP Domain, connection between site is configured as L3.

Site A got Wireless LAN Controller with 5 Access Point.

Users from Site A works mostly on Wireless LAN, these users move to SiteB and SiteC

How do I add Access Points of SiteB and SiteC to WLC of SiteA hence using the same authentication and SSID.

This would enable roaming users not to change any config for Wireless LAN.

cheers

Joe

Are you asking how to extend a L2 vlan across L3 routed links ?

If so you can use L2TPv3 although you need to check whether your routers support this feature -

Depending on the firmware you are using, I recommend you prime your LWAPs prior to deployment.
