We have an issue where call center agents are dialing 911 by mistake. It was first thought that the lack of QoS on the circuit to the location was delaying button push feedback or that some SCCP packets were being lost during network congestion. We have since moved the site over to a new circuit with twice the bandwidth and QoS enabled, but the 911 misdials continue. I traveled to the site and verified that the feedback to button pushes is not the issue. Further testing showed that if the button was pressed just right it would produce a double hit. The most consistent being if you hit the button off center and then drug your finger across the button as you pulled your finger back, it occasionally produced a double hit. This is thought to be the leading cause of the 911 misdials at this point. Has anyone else experienced any issues with double hits with the 7961G IP phone?
