If i Read the feature navigator right that release isn't listed as supporting MPLS.

It shows 12.2(24) then jumps to 12.2(26)

I am just wondering whic IOS...should i use. I have downloaded several and tried them..but no luck. ...Any idea ??

The chassies is irreleevant, it's come down to the NPE version and  the IOS code ran on, however full Point-to-point L2VPN internetworing options supported in 12.2SB and ongoing --> 12.2SRx, but your NPE might be your bottleneck.

Hello Mounir,

This is my Lab environment. I can try c7200-p-mz.122-31.SB17.bin on my Cisco 7206 and see if the command will work on not. I think in other IOS feature which I downloaded earlier on Cisco 7206 also had MPLS on AToM but no luck to get it to work. ...I will go home and download this on the router and see what happens.

Hello Shassan655,

take in account that

releases with a C2700p in the name are for NPE G1 or NPE G2 not for older NPE like NPE 200

sh ver | inc NPE
Cisco 7206VXR (NPE-G2) processor (revision A) with 917504K/65536K bytes of memory.

sh ver | inc image
System image file is "disk2:c7200p-advsecurityk9-mz.124-20.T.bin"

you cannot run a release for NPE-G1 or G2 over an NPE 200

From feature navigator to support EoMPLS on C7200

ADVANCED IP SERVICESc7200-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRE1.bin51264

if you have 512 MB of RAM and 64 MB of flash but you have  128 MB of RAM and 16 MB of flash so no match and probably you cannot increase RAM on an NPE-200.

for NPE-G2:

ADVANCED IP SERVICESc7200p-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRE1.bin1024256

Edit:

I see you have a C7200-p that is a different matter then what I have reported above

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Giuseppe,

You must never sleep. I missed the p in my troll thru feature navigator. good call.
