Hello World !!!

I have a few problems with my new SRW208MP switch :

I cannot change the password of user "admin".

This is how I try to do it :

1. Log in to the WebView software with IE8 using username "admin". As password I can enter what ever I want, I  may log in.

2. Go to the "Admin" page

3. Select user "admin" from the "Local Users Table"

4. Enter and confirm the new password.

5. click on "Update"

6. click on "Save Settings"

7. Get errormessages :

Line No.      Error Type          Value                         Diagnostic

1               null                    Unknown value          Default entry. Cannot delete the entry from the table..

1               null                    Unknown value                    Entry already exists.

Next time I can log in using user "admin" and any password I like.

For me this is an unacceptable security issue.

This this carries the label "Cisco Systems" and does not verify the password !!!

I did not yet find a newer firmware, the one I downloaded from cisco about an hour ago war 1.0.4. again.

Please help, it is urgent.
