End of life - SPA8000?

HI,

There has not been a firware release for the SPA8000 for 18 months, even thought there are known defects with 6.1.3 (at least MoH and upgrade issues, that I know about)

Hi

there's a new SPA8000 firmware currently in QA state which will address most of the open issues in the device, please stay tunned!

There aren't plans to EOL the SPA8000 at all.

we are now almost a year after this post and still no new firmware

i have a about a dozen spa 8000 and cant use them for faxes

i see in the release notes for the spa2102 that the bugs i encounter are fixed there so maybe we get a fix too

i would gladly help test out new firmware if needed

Hi Israel,

I've shared with you via personal message, the SPA8000 firmware release candidate.

We're finalizing the release notes and testing and expect the firmware to be released within the next two weeks.

The firmware update includes fixes that you've seen in the SPA2102, Tip & Ring, Fax, etc.
