Globally change 7970 background image

I have about 200 7970 phones that I need to change the background image on, is there a way to do this ...

I have created the List.xml file.

Added the neccesssary files and lines in the XML file to /Desktops/320x212x12 directory

The phones and have the image I want to use 1st in the list.

All phones see the new files but it appears that I still have t manually change each phone to use the image that I need.

Surely there is a global XML file that I can modify to make this change globally

Ideas and suggestions most appreciated

This has been discussed numerous times. You may want to search for terms like "push background image" or "force background image" or just "background image" if you want to find a wealth of discussion on this topic.

As an alternative, you can read through this blog I put together a while back that summarized my take on the various threads and options available to you.

BTW, there is no global list.xml solution that you can use. There are viable options though. I touch on the ones I came across (filtered of course) here:
