RV042 - forward to different port

Is it possible to forward complete traffic to, say, 77.88.99.100:1080 to 192.168.1.50:80 in my local network. I can forward port 1080 to 192.168.1.50, but it forwards to port 1080, and I would like to forward to port 80

The ruter is Linksys RV042.

The Setup>UPnP page allows you to configure such forwarding rule. Note that UPnP does not need to be enabled to use this feature.

Thank you, but it still does not work. Here is the configuration.

When I go to 192.168.1.50 (from my local network) I have access to my Web camera.

In UPNP section I defined service CAM1 (TCP150->80), added it to the list, enabled it and saved the configuration

In Forwarding section I defined CAM1F service forwarding TCP150 to 192.168.1.50, enabled it and saved the configuration.

Pointing browser to 77.xx.xx.xx:150 (77.xx.etc being my static IP address) does not work. However, when I reconfigure Web camera to use port 150 (which is inconvinient for me because recording software I use insists on port 80) 77.xx.xx.xx:150, which means that UPNP configuration didn't change anything.

Please help.

It works! I just had to disable port forwarding and use only UPnP. Great. Thanks a lot!

Yes, when there are conflicting rules in Forwarding and UPnP Forwarding, the former rule take precedence. Glad to know you made it work.
