SA520 SSL VPN WAN IP Address

Unanswered Question
Apr 17th, 2010

I've an SA520 with WAN IP Address connected to private LAN of ADSL Router.

ADSL Router has a public ip address (like 84.73.x.y).

ADSL Router routes all traffic to SA520 WAN Port.

I've configured SSLVPN on SA520. The server portal URL is automatically setted to and i can't change it.

Users access SSLVPN portal on URL http://84.73.x.y/portal/sslvpn (i.e. the pubblic ip address of ADSL Router). They can access to login page but they can't permorfe login.

I found that after an user click login button on SSL portal login page, browser try to request a page pointing to wrong url (i.e. the address of SA520 on network between SA520 e ADSL Router).

Any suggest?

I have this problem too.

Hi Brapao,

I'll try it out myself and get back to you if there is any solution for this scenario.

Is IP-Aliasing supported on the ADSL router? If so, you can map a public address to the local address and directly connect to the SA500 router using public IP.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Biraja, thnaks for your response.

Unfortunately, Router doesn't support ip aliasing!!!

We will schedule a firmware upgrade!
