Do I need to open a special port from the IronPort to the Internet whereby IronPort can send and receive information assessment for known internet domains ?,
I mean that, I should enable just https whereby IronPort can send the information to sender base network. Using the same channel https, is IronPort also able to receive SenderBase threat management database ?.
You do not need to enable https proxy on the IronPort for senderbase participation. It will go out via https to an IronPort server. The IronPort does not need to receive anything from Senderbase. All ip address scoring is done with WBRS updates if such features are enabled/used.
