UC540 and SPA509G

I have just setup a new uc540 system with all SPA509G phones. I am unable to program more then the first 8 lines.. Does anyone know if there is support for all 12 lines and if so how the program the last 4.

Currently, we offer support on that phone for the first 8 lines. In a future release, we will support the entire button set.

Hi Marcos,

I have a customer with same setup. UC540 with SPA509 phones. Customer would like to use all 12 buttons as monitor buttons, but only 8 possible. Is there allready a release that supports all buttons?

If yes, could you tell me what release to install?

I have not tested it myself but was told by another member on 8/19/2010 that the latest release works.

And should I download new firmware for the ip phones? or download new IOS Version?

Ultimately you would want to download the UC540 8.0.5 SWP which has the phone loads included.

Earlier, I heard 8.0.5 SWP needed to be fixed (perhaps corrupted) so waiting for that to happen maybe a good idea.

In the mean time, you can get the latest Phone firmware from CCO and you can 'drag and drop' SPA5xx phone loads (and now even 79xx phone loads) in CCA 2.2.6 to the UC540 topology icon. Then reset the phones and try.

Is there any update on this? I have the same problem.

I configured line monitoring on the 12 buttons of SPA509G and only the first 8 lines are working.

I upgraded phone firmware to 7.4.8a. No luck.
