CUCM 7.1.3
CUPS 7.0.2
I am trying to get phone presence functionality working but I'm having trouble. CUPS troubleshooting is green and CUPC client status (Available/Away/etc) is working fine. I have captured packets on CUPS and I do not see the SIP messages coming from CUCM. What logs can I look at on CUCM to make sure these messages are being sent?
Thanks,

If configuration looks good, try the following:
1) On CUCM, reset SIP trunk
2) On CUPS, restart Presence Engine (PE).
If that didn't work, you'll have to restart "Cisco CallManager" service on CUCM.

Hi
Probably best to verify your config first..
Have you made line associations to the user (not device associations)? Browse to the DN, go to the bottom of the page, and then click 'add users'...
Have you set up the publish trunk?

Background info:
SIP Proxy and Presence Engine services are running on CUPS
User has been licensed to use CUP and CUPC
I am able to log in to CUPC
CUPC client status working successfully
SIP trunk ("CUPS-SIP-Trunk") created with port 5060 (CUPS 7.x) on CUCM
CUCM service parameter for CUP PUBLISH trunk = "CUPS-SIP-Trunk"
Presence Gateway on CUPS configured as CUCM PUB server
CUPS configured for "Enable SIP Publish on CUCM" ("CUPS-SIP-Trunk" selected)
User configured in DN configuration section "Users associated with line" (as an FYI - device association also configure for CTI purposes)
