How to tell if CUCM 6.1.4 extensions are off-hook

We have all 796x serier SCCP phones registered with CUCM 6.1.4.  From time to time we need to reboot a phone in order to add an extension to the phone.  How can I tell if the phone is in use?

On a gateway router I can do "sh voice call active summary" to get an off/on hook status.  There must be some way to do that with CUCM.

Simply calling the phone doesn't verify anything since the person could be in a conference and simply not answering the call.

I have this problem too.

Hi

Just add it.

If it's in use, nothing will happen until the person hangs up the phone, then the change will apply.
