Gurus,
I'm trying to configure some new Aironet 1140's. After I plugged them into my switch, I can see in my DHCP server that they are pulling an IP address, but I can't log into the device via http. The documentation only mentions management through a LAN wireless controller. Is this, in fact, the only way the AP can be configured?
Thanks,
-Michael

Think I just answered my own question,
"The access point can only communicate with Cisco controllers, such as the 2106 series wireless LAN controllers or 4400 series controllers"

I have several 1130 ap's that have been very solid for me, but I want to start implementing some wireless-n. What AP is similar to the 1130 (i.e., non-lightweight) but also does wireless N?

You can convert your AP from lightweight to autonomous.

There are only two APs that support 802.11n: 1250 and the 1140. The 1130 is superseded by the 1140.
