LMS 3.2 Portal inaccessible (produces Java error after login)

Hi

After logon in CW Portal the screen in the browser is blank, means that I see no portlets, and any click on a link in the menu section produces following error:

An unexpected system error occurred.

javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Could not execute JDBC batch update

All CW processes are up and running and it seems that the functionality of the modules is OK (we receive alarm emails form DFM)

Our installation:

Windows 2003 Enterprise edition

LMS 3.2

I didn't find any hints about this issue so any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance

A. Brunner

Try this:

1.    Stop daemon manager from DOS:

net stop crmdmgtd

2.    Delete the files: NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/cwportal/db/portal*.
3.    Copy files under NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/cwportal/db/orig/* to NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/cwportal/db.
4.    Start daemon manager:

 net start crmdmgtd

NOTE: NMSROOT stands for the installation path, by default C:\Program Files\CSCOpx.
